Every project here represents months of planning, testing, and collaboration. We don't just design buildings—we craft spaces that'll still be standing when things go sideways. Take a look at what we've built across BC and beyond.
Completed Projects
Richmond, BC | Completed: March 2024
We redesigned this 85,000 sq ft warehouse after they had a close call with a chemical fire. The original structure wasn't cutting it for modern safety codes. Added compartmentalization, upgraded the sprinkler systems, and integrated fire-resistant barriers throughout. Now they're running smoothly with way less insurance headaches.
Challenge:
Outdated fire safety systems
Solution:
Full compartmentalization retrofit
Burnaby, BC | Completed: September 2024
Building a fire station comes with its own irony—it's gotta be the most fire-resistant thing around. We incorporated geothermal heating, solar arrays, and rainwater collection while meeting all seismic and fire codes. The crew loves the new space and it's 40% more energy-efficient than their old building.
Energy Savings: 40% reduction
Construction Time: 11 months
Vancouver, BC | Completed: June 2023
This 1907 building needed serious help. Heritage restrictions meant we couldn't touch the exterior, but the interior? Total disaster waiting to happen. We threaded modern fire suppression through century-old timber, added emergency exits without wrecking the character, and brought everything up to current code. The owners can actually sleep at night now.
Surrey, BC | Completed: January 2025
Working with composite materials means dealing with some nasty chemicals and fire risks. We designed this 42,000 sq ft facility from scratch with dedicated ventilation zones, explosion-proof electrical systems, and a foam suppression setup that'll handle their specific material hazards. Plus, the whole building runs on renewable energy.
Kelowna, BC | Completed: August 2024
After the devastating wildfires, this community wanted to rebuild smarter. We designed 28 homes using fire-resistant materials, defensible space planning, and ember-proof venting. Every home's got Class A roofing, tempered glass, and strategic landscaping. It's not just about surviving a fire anymore—it's about preventing ignition in the first place.

Abbotsford, BC | Completed: April 2023
Food processing plants are tricky—you've got grease, heat, and strict hygiene requirements all at once. This facility needed a complete fire safety overhaul without shutting down operations. We worked in phases, installed a specialized kitchen suppression system, upgraded their electrical to handle modern equipment, and improved their emergency evacuation routes.
Vancouver, BC | Completed: November 2024
This 12-story office building hits LEED Platinum while exceeding fire safety standards. We integrated smoke control systems with natural ventilation, used cross-laminated timber (with proper fire protection), and created a building that's both beautiful and bulletproof. The atrium design was particularly challenging—had to balance aesthetics with smoke management.

Stories
Victoria, BC | Completed: February 2024
Hospitals can't evacuate easily, so fire safety's gotta be next-level. We designed this new wing with horizontal evacuation routes, pressurized corridors, and redundant life safety systems. The operating rooms got special attention—you can't have sprinklers going off during surgery. Lots of late nights figuring out the balance between safety and functionality here.
Whether you're dealing with an aging facility, planning new construction, or just trying to get your building up to code, we've been there. Let's talk about what you're working with and figure out the best path forward.
